Mommy is Oblivious

Returning home today, I traveled through town. I came to a red light, waited for the light, then proceeded through. Not half a block down the street, a woman steps right out in front of my car, holding the hand of a cute little girl, and a little boy followed her. Of course, I came to a stop, and let them cross. The lady never once made eye contact with me.

Either this lady thought she owned the street, was extremely trusting, or simply oblivious. In any case, she made a poor choice, and fortunately the children with her did not have to pay for it this time. Incidents like this just leave me wondering. What else does this person do that could endanger those kids, or perhaps worse, model unsafe behavior?
